Black antique thumb latch set with locking chain. This black door latch can be used on doors where privacy is required. The thumb press handle is fitted to the outside of the door and the door latch to the inside. The chain pin can be inserted into the hole above the latch bar to prevent it being lifted from outside. Thumb latches are perfect for adding character to doors in period style properties as opposed to traditional lever door handles. The latch measures approximately 127mm and the handle measures 203x63mm. Supplied complete with screws.
This set comprises of a grip handle and thumb lever for the outside of the door and a horizontal latch and keep for the inside of the door. The thumb lever extends through the thickness of the door and is fitted so that when pressed from the outside, it lifts the latch on the inside, freeing the door to open.
