Black antique thumb latch set, manufactured in the UK by Kirkpatrick. The latch measures 216mm and the handle backplate measures 177x38mm. The thumb piece extends through the door and when pressed, lifts the latch on the opposite side, freeing the door to open.
This set comprises of a grip handle and thumb lever on a plate for the outside of the door and a horizontal latch and keep for the inside of the door. The thumb lever extends through the thickness of the door and is fitted so that when pressed from the outside, it lifts the latch on the inside, freeing the door to open.
