Sloane scroll shaped door knocker in a polished brass finish. Overall length of knocker measures approximately 196mm and the square fixing plates measure 45mm. Bolt centres measure approximately 150mm. To be fitted to a front door, usually with other co-ordinated brass front door fittings. Fixing bolts are included.
A door knocker can be used just for aesthetic reasons if fitted with a door bell or can be used to assist in pulling the door closed. It is fixed by means of threaded bars which pass through the door and screw into the back of the door knocker and the striking plate.
